Good news and bad news. First the good news: Blue Jupiter won the popular vote! A million thanks to our fans who voted us to the top of the HLN's Morning Express with Robin Meade Theme Contest. You were there for us when we needed you! The bad news is that Robin chose the "other group". Of course we're disappointed, but we also wanted to pass on our congratulations to these girls, tell them to keep up the great whistling, and wish them all the success in the world! On to the next project! Thanks and big hugs to all of you!
Marty flexed his Beatboxing chops today for a few casting and ad-executives for a new national TV commercial. The spot will feature a beatboxing frog (among other characters). We'll keep you posted during callbacks!
The next time you're stuck in a Marriot, Best Western, or Holiday Inn, and find yourself searching for a movie to watch on the hotel's "InDemand" movie rental system, pay attention to the voice that giving you instructions to push "OK" on your remote. Diana's voice can be heard nation-wide on a number of commercials, including a recent TV spot for Planters. She, along with Robert Downey Junior shared some animated screen time; Robert as "Mr. Peanut" and Diana as his "Butterfly" sidekick!

Blue Jupiter's own Marty Gasper will be running sound at the 92Y for AcapaJewza 2009. Come see Blue Jupiter's friends Six13 and Michael Fii for a wild romp of Jewish tunes and live-looping. Marty will be sitting behind the soundboard making sure that the air is full of wonderfully clean audio goodness.

The Jupes just got home from an exhausting but awesome road trip. Minneapolis showcases went really well, then we got off the plane in NYC Sat and drove 5 hours to Vermont for a corporate show which was Off-The-Hook!
Blue Jupiter received FOUR ENCORES! The audience didn't want the evening to end..and neither did we!

Blue Jupiter had a blast headlining at A Cappela Stock music festival in Utah! Thanks to T Minus 5 for putting together a killer event.
The audience was so pumped about a cappella-We can't wait to come back to Utah!
We performed on 101.5 The Eagle, The Stubbs show, and on Channel 2 news with Ron Bird for his 20th Anniversary on air
We were also VIP guests at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir TV Broadcast on Sunday. We even got to sing for the choir director, Mack Wilberg! His comment to Blue Jupiter: "So in tune!"
What a thrill!

Blue Jupiter just returned from headlining at Spring Sing in Athens Georgia. Spring Sing is an a cappella festival that raises money for the American Cancer Society and is produced by Team Burns.

Blue Jupiter was accepted into the Pennsylvania Arts Presenters Showcase in Pittsburgh! The date is May 28, 2009. PAE is a showcase opportunity for Blue Jupiter that allows us to perform a sample show for all the theatre booking contacts in Pennsylvania. This is big news, as this is Blue Jupiter’s first attempt at getting a showcase. To be awarded one on the first try really speaks highly of the band!
