Blue Jupiter is a college-educated, internationally-known, professional pop/funk a cappella group that entertains and educates students of all ages through their Artists in Residency Concert Series (ARCS).

Blue Jupiter ARCS offers workshops and assemblies for students in grades K-12 that include topics like: proper singing technique, the importance of warming up, breath support, blending, basic to advanced a cappella singing, the history of a cappella, vocal percussion, improvisation, learning by ear, and the business of being a musician. Blue Jupiter’s ARCS also includes a performance opportunity for your school’s choir. Your choral students can learn 2 or 3 Blue Jupiter arrangements, rehearse them with the band, and perform them with Blue Jupiter during a concert that Blue Jupiter produces for the entire community.

The result of Blue Jupiter ARCS is incredible. Schools across the nation have found an increase in boys joining choir, and many students consider starting their own a cappella groups or want to pursue a career in music. Stereotypes of a cappella and the music business are removed and the community is made aware of the talents found in their own school district. Blue Jupiter will help you schedule assemblies and workshops, pre-sell tickets and merchandise as fund-raisers, and provide you with the materials necessary to ensure a successful event for your students and community.

After scheduling a residency, you will receive a Production Packet that contains everything you need for the event such as: the contract, tickets, handouts, fund-raising materials, promotional flyers, posters, sheet music for the performance choir, stage plot, technical requirements (Blue Jupiter provides sound and lights), and instructions that guide you through the entire residency.
