Chris Chatham
High Rock Tenor, Founder of the Band
Chris received his formal training at Berklee College of Music in Boston. While there he co-founded Blue Jupiter with Marty Gasper. Through Blue Jupiter, Chris has performed throughout the US and the world. Posessed of what his band members lovingly refer to as a "crazy mutant-like high range," Chris uses this veritable superpower for good (mostly), delivering a broad range of musical material, from hard rock to funk to pop ballads. Chris is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and considers his hometown and the people he grew up with to be a great inspiration. Chris will provide lessons in how to properly pronounce words with a Pittsburghese accent upon request (and sometimes without a request). Chris' artistry can be felt in the original music and original arrangements he's brought to Blue Jupiter and in his inimitably memorable sense of style, that, like his hair, can only be described as unique.
