Blue Jupiter’s biggest exposure came from the Lifetime TV show “Pitch Slapped” seen by millions . Blue Jupiter’s female lead singer, and star of Pitch Slapped, Diana Preisler, alongside members of Blue Jupiter became known to their loyal audience as they all coached and performed for young a cappella singers weekly, on TV screens across the globe. However, Blue Jupiter's fan base was earned way before their reality TV stardom, from over 15 years of non-stop touring.

Blue Jupiter’s “twisted” a cappella versions of Broadway and pop songs have garnered awards such as “Audience Favorite” at the Moscow Spring A Cappella Festival, and “Audience Favorite” and “Best Arrangement” at several Harmony Sweepstakes Competitions in the US.
In 2019, Blue Jupiter was asked to be US Cultural Ambassadors to Russia, where the group toured the Urals region of Russia, and performed at the US Consolate in Moscow for international dignitaries.
Their creative, a cappella twist has landed Blue Jupiter on Oprah, LifetimeTV, and as the voice of the Oreo Cookie commercials produced by Randy Jackson (American Idol, Mariah Carey). They've headlined shows for Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, Sands Casino in Macau China, and Villa Roma Catskills Resort.
They’ve shared the stage with national touring artists like Pentatonix, Livingston Taylor, Owl City, Third Eye Blind; Blake Lewis of American Idol, Neil Sedaka, Take 6, Andy Samberg, and many more. They’ve sung for tens of thousands of kids, from elementary age to college as part of their educational outreach Program “The A Cappella Experience. ”Blue Jupiter has performed for international brands like Disney, Nokia, ABC Family, Microsoft, Honda, Weather Channel, Berkshire Hathaway, Blue Cross Blue Shield, the NBA and many more. With performances in 49 US states and over 200 shows in China and Japan, Russia, Canada, Costa Rica, and across the Caribbean.

When asked about their favorite performances over the years, Diana says “it’s a toss up between the time we sang for the Princess of Thailand and the ruler of the Philippines on New Years Eve in Hong Kong, but more likely the Fourth Of July performance for 10,000 US Troops and families stationed at the Kadena Airbase in Okinawa, Japan."

A bit of history
Blue Jupiter was formed in 2001. What began as pizza money for hungry students at Berklee College of Music in Boston, quickly became a full-time professional career. Gigs started pouring in from high schools, colleges and Universities across the US. Originally an all-male ensemble, Blue Jupiter's early albums: “Ear Candy,” “Scattered Flurries” (a Christmas album) and “Live from NYC.” all received rave reviews. Those recordings caught the ear of Diana Preisler, a Broadway performer in New York City. This match was meant to be. She polished their look and encouraged the group to enter national competitions. Barely a month later, Blue Jupiter had won the Oreo Cookie Jingle Competition, worked with famed record producer Randy Jackson, been seen on Oprah and started experiencing a very full calendar of events. The surprise: requests kept coming in for a group that could also bring a powerhouse female lead. Diana stepped up and Blue Jupiter’s Twisted Broadway sound was born.

Broadway Records recording artist, Blue Jupiter, announces the release of “Twisted Broadway Volume 1 (An A Cappella Album)” . Blue Jupiter’s fifth full-length album release. “Twisted Broadway" delivers classic Broadway show tunes, but each has been twisted -boldly re-imagined in Blue Jupiter’s high energy, a cappella style. Audiences will immediately recognize the hits from classic shows like Wicked, Pippin, Porgy and Bess, The Sound of Music, Chicago, The Wizard of Oz, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and more. But they’ve never heard them like this before. Where groups like Post Modern Jukebox, deliver modern songs in old fashioned styles, Blue Jupiter prefers time travel in the opposite direction.
